Starting Is Easy
I did it. I started. It happened and you probably didn’t even notice. I created this substack thing, and put my name in, and hit “new post” or something, and then it was started. It was so easy, it was done before I even did anything.
Continuing is hard though, and I’m going to do my best. I’ve false started so many times, but I think a lot of those false starts are because of the tools involved and the gap between ideation and execution. I’m using substack now instead of my own self hosted markdown blog generator in large part because I could never get those things working exactly the way I wanted them to. Giving up control, just use substack, maybe it’ll be easier for me.
If You’re Here, You Already Know
I’m going to be writing about TTRPG stuff, which is my primary hobby. I’ll also write about software stuff from time to time, if I find anything worth writing about. It’s something I just happen to be kinda good at - I don’t have any real passion for it, so don’t expect anything mind blowing. I might vent about how stupid Ruby on Rails is.
With that in mind, I’m gonna wrap this up and push the button. I’ve got better things to write.
